News Death Notice

CAUDLE, Odis D. age 86, of Hamilton, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014. He was born May 18, 1927 in Centerville, Indiana the son of the late Floyd and Minnie (Rayburn) Caudle. Mr. Caudle was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in the Korean War. He worked as a yard conductor for Conrail for many years. He was a member of and Past Master of the Hugh Bates Masonic Lodge #686, York Rite, and the Order of Eastern Star Washington Chapter and Ft. Hamilton Chapter. Mr. Caudle was a long time member of the Hamilton High-Twelve Club and was currently serving as chaplain. He was also a member of the High Street Baptist Church. He was married to Mary Caudle who preceded him in death in 1977 and married to Beulah Caudle who preceded him in death in 1999. He is survived by one daughter Wilma (Bobby) Caudle Lovins; three grandchildren Randall Combs, Sandra (Brian) Combs-Moore, and Ralph Combs; one great granddaughter Emma Dawn Combs; and one brother William Caudle. Mr. Caudle was also preceded in death by his brothers Lloyd Caudle and Hubert Caudle and his sister Ruby Webb. Visitation 5-8 PM Friday at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield. A Masonic service will be conducted at 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home, followed by the Scottish Rite Ring Ceremony The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday February 15, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Ron Stewart, officiating. Burial to follow with full military honors in Millville Cemetery.
