Clement Roger LAGUEUX Obituary

LAGUEUX, Clement Roger

Clement Roger Lagueux, "Bicky", beloved husband of Lorraine (LaRocque), for 64 years, passed away on March 31 (Easter Sunday) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Augusta, Maine, he resided in Wethersfield for most of his adult life. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the Marine Corp during WWII and the Korean War. He owned and operated Parisian Beauty Salon in Hartford. He enjoyed roller skating, where he met his wife. Clem was also an amateur boxer. He was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church in Wethersfield and a member of the VFW in West Hartford. He will best be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor. He loved dogs, ice cream and chocolate, but his family was always his highest priority. Besides his wife, he is survived by five children: Diane Landry and her husband Gaetan of Ocala, FL; Ken Lagueux and his wife Anne of Kensington; Linda Sipala and her husband Joseph of Wilmington, NC; Carol Palombizio of Wethersfield; Donna Lagueux and Hossein Tehrani of Goshen; and eight grandchildren: Michelle, Michael, Adam and his wife Liza, Brandon, Krista and her husband Jason, Daniel, Anthony, Nicole; and three great-grandchildren: Owen, Jayden, and Xavier. He is survived by a brother, Roger and his wife Nancy. He was predeceased by a brother, Lucien, and two sisters, Estelle Majoy and Lys Gionfriddo.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Church, Silas Deane Hwy, Wethersfield on Tuesday (April 9, 2013) at 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, 580 Elm St, Rocky Hill.
