BRADY, Earl J. Jr.

Earl J. Brady, Jr. of Stratham, NH, formerly of Stratford and Westchester, passed away after a brief illness November 5, 2012. He was born in Hartford, on Sept. 7, 1931 to the late Earl J Brady and Evelyn Evitts Brady. Earl was a graduate of Bacon Academy and a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the US Navy. Earl started his career with Hartford Despatch as district Manager and later in sales for W.R. Grace. Upon retirement he moved to Antrim, NH, and later settled in Stratham. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara McNamara Brady; daughter Maureen Doherty and her spouse Peter of Stratford; son Michael Brady of Boston, MA; and daughter-in-law Mary Brady. Earl is also survived by his four beloved grandchildren, Peter and Ryan Doherty and James and Emma Brady. In addition, Earl is survived by his brother Kenneth (Terry); sisters Evelyn Ivers and Shirley Brady, as well as his extended family of in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his twin sons James and John Brady, granddaughter Stacy, siblings, Mary Brady Egan, Wesley and James. Earl will always be remembered for his sharp wit, strong self-assurance and devotion to family.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your local Hospice.
