Myra Clark Obituary

Myra Clark, 94, passed away on August 15 at St. Francis Hospital after a long illness. Myra was born in the South on February 13, 1920, lived with her family for a time in Philadelphia, and then moved by herself to Connecticut in her thirties. She met and married her beloved Damon Clark, a former sergeant in the U.S. Army, Korean War veteran, and employee of the U.S. Postal Service. They moved to their new home in Bloomfield, where they lived together until Damon passed away in 1977. Myra continued to live in their home for the rest of her life. In her later life she traveled extensively for the first time, visiting many parts of the world. The gentlest of souls, with a warm voice and a ready, quiet laugh, Myra was much loved by everyone who knew her. She will be buried next to Damon in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield. She will be dearly missed.
