Richard C. Segreto Sr. Obituary

Bristol, Richard "Dick " C. Segreto, Sr., 74, of Indian Trail Rd., Bristol passed away peacefully on Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Bristol Hospital. Dick was born in Yonkers, New York on October 24, 1939, the son of the late Frank and Frances (Serravelle) Segreto. During the course of his life he moved to Bristol, Ct where he was a longtime resident. He was a veteran in the Army. He worked for over 24 years at the Department of Corrections in Cheshire where he retired in 1989. He was a member at St. Anthony Church. He was a member of clubs such as The Elks Club BPOE # 1010, The American Legion Post# 2, The Italian Social Club if Bristol, The Bristol Fish Game and The Westerly Yacht Club. He is survived by; two sons , Richard C. Segreto, Jr. and his friend Barbie Daggett pf Bristol and Raymond R. Segreto and his wife Andrea and their daughter Mackenzie of Pawcatuck, CT , along with his nieces Lori, Tina, and his nephew Frank, Jr., and many dear friends and neighbors. Dick was a wonderful Father, Grandfather, Uncle and Friend. He will be greatly missed. He loved and was loved by all that knew him. The family would also like to extend a very special thank you to the ICU nursing staff and ICU Doctor's at Bristol Hospital , for the extraordinary care they provided for Dick. To abide by his wishes, there will be no calling hours. Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial which will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St Anthony Church, 111 School St. Bristol. Burial will follow with military honors in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Arrangements are being handled by Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St Bristol is in charge of the arrangements.
