Mr. Ethredge Polk "E.P." Beasely

Services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday at Hardy Street Baptist Church for Mr. Ethredge Polk "E.P." Beasley, age 82, of Hattiesburg, MS, who died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Bedford Care and Rehab Center.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery with military rites performed by VFW Post 3036 Honor Guard.

Mr. Beasley was a lineman for the Dixie Electric Power Association. He retired as supervisor of the Petal Dixie Electric Branch. He was a US Navy Korean Veteran and a life-member of Elks Lodge #599 of Hattiesburg. He was a member of Hardy Street Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by one infant son, Ethredge Polk Beasley Jr.; two brothers, Oben Beasley, and Charles O. Beasley; and his parents, C.O. and Maggie Daughtrey Beasley.

He was survived by his wife, Aubrey Jean Scarborough, Beasley of Hattiesburg; two daughters, Teresa Viehweg (Robert) of Hattiesburg, and Libby Hammett (Barry) of Hattiesburg; two brothers, Johnny and Alvin Beasley of Sumrall; and three grandchildren, Kristian Higginbotham, Kaelyn Sydboten, and Tyler Hammett (Mary).

Visitation will be 5-8 P.M. Monday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home and will continue at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at the church
