EVERETT, Henry Adams 85, of Clearwater Beach passed away June 26, 2013 in Indianapolis IN. He was born in Pavo GA, and has been a Florida resident for 61 years coming from Thomasville GA. Henry was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the US Navy aboard the USS Helena. He was an executive for Gulf Oil Corp for 20 years and then became co-owner and CFO of Everett & Associates Insurance Agency. He also was a property developer and is the owner of the Everett Building in Miami Shores. Mr Everett was a member and past director of Miami Court 88 Royal Order of Jesters, Past National Director and Emeritus Board Member of the International ROJ. He was a member of Masonic Lodge F&AM in Miami Shores FL. Henry served as Potentate for Mahi Shrine Temple in Miami, and was the Past Commodore of the Mariners of Mahi Shrine Temple. Other accomplishments and memberships include; Past Mayor of Miami Shores in 1979, board member of Miami Country Day School, board of Deacons Miami Shores Presbyterian Church, board member of Ultimar II Homeowners Association Sand Key, member of Belleair Country Club, Clearwater Yacht Club, and Kenmure Country Club Flat Rock NC. He enjoyed golf, tennis, fishing, and boating. Survivors include his wife of 54 years Frances (Brooks) Everett formerly of Chattahoochee and Tallahassee. They were married September 6, 1959; son Rhett Everett (Louisa); daughter Charisse Everett; sister Mary Josephine Everett Jones and 2 grandchildren Dillon and Fallon Everett. Funeral services will be held on Wed July 3rd at 11 am at Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church 110 S Ft. Harrison Ave Clearwater. Interment will take place in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park Mausoleum Largo. Public visitation hours are planned for Tuesday July 2nd from 4 to 6 pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home Serenity Gardens Chapel in Largo 562-2080. A celebration gathering luncheon will follow the cemetery service on Wednesday at Belleair Country Club.
