DEGLER, JACK K. 74 of Ormond Beach FL died on May 14, 2014. He is survived by his wife Susan B. Degler, Daughters, Nicole Duquet and Melissa McCauley, son, Michael McCauley, and grandchildren, Gregory Duquet, Jakeb Duquet and Chloe McCauley. Jack was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 12, 1939 , then lived in Miami FL, graduating from Coral Gables High School, where he was a of the Ching Tang Fraternity Brother. Jack also served his country for four years in the US Navy. He was a fire fighter for the City of Miami Fire Department, retiring after 30 years service as Fire Captain in 1991. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S. Flagler Beach FL for a memorial service on Saturday June 7 at 2:00 PM to celebrate Jack's Life. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project @ www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
