He retired from the military, and returned home to work as an ad executive for the Miami Herald for over 18 years. It was during this time, he had son, Ralph, and daughter, Lisa. He then changed careers and worked in several family businesses, including wine retail and real estate, before moving into the car business where he worked for Warren Henry for over 10 years. He then went on to semi-retire and pursue his lifelong dream of opening an Italian sub shop in Davie. He was then blessed with three wonderful grandchildren. He was a loving, caring, and wonderful person, who touched many people's lives, and who lived life to the fullest. He found his greatest joy from time spent with his family.
