Bobbe Lee Griffith, age 85, passed Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at his home in Medford.
He was born July 29, 1927, in Redding, Calif., to Reece Allen Griffith and Marjorie Vogel.
Bobbe grew up in Klamath Falls and graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1945. Shortly after high school, he joined the U.S. Navy and received an honorable discharge in 1950.
In 1951, he married Carol Bernadette Baker, who preceded him.
Bobbe had been a member of the Jaycees, Lions Club and Elks Lodge. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
He worked for the State of Oregon until retiring at 70 years of age.
Survivors include four children: daughter, Lyn (Dan) Hobbs of Medford, and sons, Andy L. Griffith of Medford, Dan R. Griffith of Medford and Scott T. Griffith of San Jose, Calif.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He will be laid to rest beside Carol after the graveside service at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Medford with a reception to follow.
