Kenneth Patsch
Kenneth A. Patsch, resident of Klamath Falls, died at the age of 44, as a result of a tragic fall on a recent camping trip. A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Sept. 28, at the Klamath County Fairgrounds.
Kenneth was born in San Jose, CA, to Frank and Kathy (Tremmel) Patsch Aug. 26, 1969. In 1975 the family moved to Klamath Falls. Kenny attended elementary school at Sacred Heart Academy, then graduated Klamath Union High School in 1987. In July of that year, he joined the US Marine Corps., and was stationed at Camp Pendleton. He traveled all over the world, and was a Desert Storm veteran. After spending four years in the Marines, he separated in July of 1991 to return home to Klamath Falls. On April 1, 2006, he married Kay Simmons in a small chapel in Reno, NV.
Kenny worked in the community at Jefferson State Redi Mix and Klamath County Road Department, until joining the Air National Guard in December of 2001, where he served until his death. He was a Tech. Sergeant Aerospace Propulsions Journeyman. Kenny always thought it was his honor and privilege to serve his country.
He enjoyed hiking, fishing, camping, cars, motorcycles, guns, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Simmons Patsch; mother, Kathy Patsch; father, Frank Patsch; step-children Michelle Howard, Dalena Lemus, Jerina Horton; step-brothers and -sister James Bird, Shaun Bird, Mark Bird, Lisa Wilson; uncles and aunts Ronald and Patti Patsch, Elaine and Robert Garrison, Phyllis Patsch, Susan Say, Kathleen and William Walls; grandchildren Cole, William, Wade, Derry, Chance, Riely, Rowdy, Steven, Kellana; cousins Robert (Glen) McGregor, Scott McGregor, Angel McDonald, Tara Butler, Debbie Smathers, Duane Robson, Max Robson, Joan Pulling, Jackie Linda, Robert Say, Bruce Say, Brenda Lyons, Marie Alexson, Russel Walls; and special friend Jackie. He was preceded in death by his step-mother Jackie Patsch; aunt Maxine Robson; grandparents Margaret and Max Patsch. Contributions in memory of Kenneth Patsch may be made to the , or the .
