Alejo "Alex" Villasista Sibuma

Alejo "Alex" Villasista Sibuma, 67 years old, of Marysville, Washington was born on June 8, 1946 in Dagupan City Philippines to Bernardo and Maria (Villasista) Sibuma.
After suffering from a long illness, he passed away peacefully on June 13, 2013 with his family by his side.
As a young man, Alex joined the US Navy at Subic Bay Philippines. He fought in the Vietnam War, and participated in 251 river
patrol missions as a boat gunner. He was attached to
River Assault Division 153, Squadron 15. He received a Bronze Star with Valor,
Purple Heart, and Navy Commendation with valor, as well as several Service Medals. He was career Navy serving 20 years and retired in 1993.
Alex also worked at Eldec, Boeing and was on the
fishing boat, Galaxy, out of Dutch Harbor AK.
In 1980 he married Rene' Bibeau and they had four children. Alex enjoyed his
family and was always cooking fantastic meals for all to enjoy. He loved being a grandfather to his two little apos, Ayden and Jack. He also had a home in the
Philippines, where he enjoyed visiting.
Alex is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Norma.
He is survived by his wife, Rene' and their four children: Beau (Erin), Alexis (Adam), Alissa (Benjamin) and Aleiah;
his sisters and brothers:
Thelma (Romy), Alicia,
Oscar (Cionie), Jun (Bibi), Jesus (Shirley), Carlos
(Madelyn), Evelyn (Rudy); his mother-in-law, Pat Bibeau; and many nieces and nephews.
