Barry Ordell

Barry Ordell, 69, of Gig Harbor, passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully at his home on August 3, 2013. Barry was born in Seattle, WA on March 7, 1944. He grew up in Madison Park, graduated from Garfield High School and attended the University of Washington, eventually completing his degree at Central Washington University. Barry worked for GTE for many years before retiring to focus on perfecting his golf swing.
Barry's greatest loves were his family and friends, golf and Washington Huskies football. He is survived by his daughters, Amanda (Andrew) Poliak, Lisa (Todd) Griffiths; his granddaughters, Madison and Tori Poliak; his former wife and fond companion, Margy Johnson Ordell; his sisters, Elaine (John) Cohn and Sally (Neil) Cays; and his brother, David (Arlette) Ordell.
