Carrol C. Walker, 84, of Snohomish, Washington passed away peacefully on September 9, 2013. He was born June 7, 1929 in Seattle, Washington to William and Signe Walker where he grew up in Lake Forrest Park. Carrol attended Roosevelt High School in Seattle, and graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. He received his Master's Degree in Education from Seattle University. After college Carrol began his teaching career in Sultan, where he taught for one year until he was drafted into the US Army. He was stationed at Dugway Proving Grounds in Utah for two years. After his military service Carrol continued his teaching career, working for two years in Naches before he finally settled in Snohomish, where he taught at the high school for 32 years. Carrol loved to be on the water, and his lifelong dream culminated with the "Endeavor", his custom-designed pleasure tugboat. He was a member of the Everett Power Squadron for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother. At Carrol's request, no services will be held. Memorials are suggested to Seattle Children's Hospital, Seattle; Providence General Foundation, Everett; Valley General Foundation, Monroe; or , Memphis, TN. Special thanks goes out to his boating friends from the Everett Power Squadron, Dutch Hill EMT's, and his good friends Joanna and Jamie Cook, whose help enabled him to live independently at home.
