Dano Anderson passed on January 28, 2014 in Everett, WA surrounded by family. Dano was born on July 30, 1951 to Edwin Anderson and Patricia Wells in Portland, OR. He graduated from Redmond High School in 1969. He served in the Navy achieving the rank of BMSN E3. He was stationed in San Diego, CA and served on the USS AJax (AR6) in Sasebo, Japan. Dano was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. Dano was a long-term member of the Teamsters Union Local 38 and drove a truck for Crown Distributing retiring in 2013. He was an Avid Fan of Nascar and loved to restore old cars. He married Barbara C. Slinde on February 5, 2000 in Everett, WA. He was preceded in death by mother, Patricia Wells; daughter, Kirsten Lynn Anderson; and grandparents. He is survived by wife, Barbara Anderson; son, Christopher Anderson; dad, Edwin G. Anderson; step-children, Laurie Sween (Shawn), Brent Tiffany (Ginger), and Lisa Tiffany (Larry); siblings, Edwin (Anne) Anderson Jr., Diana (Steve) McIntosh, Connie Ennex; eight grandchildren, Kelsey, Caylie, Alexis, Taylor, Audrey, Anna, Grant and Brooke; and one great grandchild, Jayden; and numerous nephews and nieces. A Memorial of Remembrance will be at the family home on Saturday, February 8, 2014 form 2-4 p.m.
