Gayle Corier

Our loving mom Gayle, 90, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2013. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and raised on a small farm in Chesterfield, Idaho.
Gayle proudly served in the Coast Guard in WWII. She married James Lewis Corier on August 4, 1946 and moved to the Northwest where she and Jim raised their family in the Edmonds area for 54 years.
Gayle owned and operated the Happy Hollow Montessori Preschool in Edmonds for 35 years. Piano was an integral part of Mom's life, playing the piano in church since she was eight years old. She also performed with the Edmonds Senior Swingers. She loved "tickling the ivory" and provided lessons to many people.
Mom was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved her Heavenly Father and we take comfort in knowing she is in heaven rejoicing with Dad and other family and friends that have passed before her.
Gayle is survived by her children, Sandra (Lamont), Dan (Joyce), Timm (Margie), Korey (Mary) and Val (Laurie). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; as well as her brother, Rex Davids (Phyllis) of Menan, Idaho.
A special thank you to Deanna Patterson, and mom's close circle of friends for all the love and care you have shown mom over the years. We are forever grateful to all.
Services will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Edmonds LDS building. 7950 228th St. SW Edmonds, WA, 98026.

We Love you Mom!
God be with you
'til we meet again.
