Joanne passed away peacefully on February 5, 2014 in Everett. She was born in Portland, OR on June 15, 1941, and spent her whole life in the Everett area. Supported by family and friends, Joanne thrived despite her disabilities. In her need to be active she volunteered her time with many charities and Providence Hospital. She enjoyed meeting people and being involved in any activity. Some activities included Special Olympics, and the Old Time Country Music Assn. Joanne was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Vera and Harold Yerian; and father, William Berg. She is survived by her brother, Donald; niece, Holly Gilbert and family both of Puyallup, WA; loving cousins, Janet Craft, Kathy Jones, and their families. Joannes big heart will surely be missed. A celebration of life will be held at Sunrise Retirement Villa on February 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., 2520 Madison Street Everett, WA 98374
