Lester H. Kipp, born December 12, 1919 at Park City, Montana, died November 3. 2013 at Warm Beach Health Care Center, Stanwood, Wa. Lester graduated from Great Falls Montana High School and worked in the Great Falls Smelter until enlisting in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. He served in the Coast Guard until being discharged in 1945. He joined the Seattle Fire Department in 1948 and served 25 years, until retiring on disability in 1973. Lester enjoyed a variety of activities during his retirement. His favorites were fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking and camping. Lester's first wife, Marjorie preceded him in death in 1984. He is survived by second wife, Sandy; daughter, Sally; granddaughter, Lisa; grandson, Jim; and great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Charlotte, Matthew and Nichole.
