1940-2014 Neil Eugene Buzzell, Sr. passed on Tuesday, July 28, 2014. He was born to the late Clell and Joyce Buzzell, Oct. 22, 1940, in Eau Claire, WI. Neil graduated from Memorial High School in 1940, and attended Wesley Methodist College and University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire. Neil was Industrial Engineer for Boeing until he retired in 1995 with 27 years service. He projected and budgeted manpower hours for the 747 and 767 productions line. Neil was an active member of the Loyal Order of Moose serving as Secretary, receiving Four Star Degree and. N. Puget Sound Legion, competing on Ritual Team and received his Fellowship Degree. Neil was volunteer firefighter for Marysville Fire District 12. Before the essential tremors set in Neil was active in sports, bowling, and golf with recognition from Golf Digest for a hole-in-one and slow pitch baseball for Marysville Fire District and attending his grandchildren's activities. He then became couch coach and an avid reader collecting Tom Clancy, Lee Child, and James Patterson, a few of his favorite paperbacks. Neil is survived by spouse, Mary Granstrom Buzzell; brother, Bryan (Jeannie) Buzzell of Green Bay, Wis., daughter, Kelly Buzzell Lian and stepsons, Robert (Mari) Brown, Andrew (Pam) Brown, NC. and Kevin Brown. He also is survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Neil was preceded in death by sisters, Cheryl Buzzell and Judy Burnell, daughter, Kimberly J. and son, Neil E., Jr. A Registered Organ Donor, Neil's Cornea was donated for research to Sight Lite. A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 1424 172nd NE, Marysville, Wash. on Wednesday, August 7, 2014 at 1 p.m.
