Rita Harr passed away on her eightieth birthday with her family and loved ones at her side on June 2, 2014. Rita was born in Albuquerque, N.M. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Seattle and worked for the Boeing Co. in Everett, she was the vice president of the ladies auxiliary at the Monroe V.F.W. She helped with their cancer aid and research bulletin to raise funds to help the fight. Being a five time cancer survivor herself, Rita volunteered at The Cancer Center, Providence Hospital of Everett. Helping those to deal with the disease that took her. Rita is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Gloria, Shelly, and Donna; son, Donald; sisters, Brenda and Denise; brother, George; six grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Life isn't about surviving the storm, but how to dance in the rain.
