Thomas Ralph Murdock

Sgt. Thomas R. Murdock, 63, of Ephrata, Washington passed away January 30, 2013. Tom was born October 30, 1949 to Ralph and Dorothy Murdock.
Tom, a Washington native, lived most of his life in Marysville. Tom honorably served in the United States Marine Corps 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Division, Hotel Company as an "Arty" Artillery Forward Scout Observer, also decorated in combat attached with Companies; Bravo, Charlie, Echo and Foxtrot from February 1968 through May 1969 in the Vietnam War. Tom worked with his Father and Brother as a Mechanic at their family business Murdock Automotive in Marysville, WA. He later became a Realtor and Broker. Tom is survived by his daughter, Kasey Kimball (Jamie); and grandsons; Jamieson, Darrell and Mason Kimball; and grand-daughter, Shelby Kimball, of San Diego, CA; his sister, Janet Robb (Craig) of Oak Harbor, WA; his brother, Mike (Debbie) Murdock of Anacortes, WA; his sister, Mary Mitchell (Robert), of Kuna, ID; his nieces, Loni, Kelly, and Jennifer; and nephews, Michael and Shawn.
Tom was looking forward to retirement and spending time with his passions, his grandchildren and fishing. Tom was a loving Father and Grandpa. Tom was a man greatly loved by his family and will be deeply missed and always remembered.
Services with Military Honors will be held March 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Tahoma National Cemetery 18600 SE 240th Street. Kent, WA 98042.
