Phil Caeti, age 78, passed away on Thursday, October 3. 2013. Phil was born in Chicago, IL, in 1935 and graduated from Austin High School, graduated in Accounting from University of Illinois in Champaign, and received an MBA from Loyola University. Phil is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joanne, three children, Ken Caeti (wife, Anita) of Livonia, Michigan, Kathy Ehmann of Sarasota, FL, and Sue Philhower of Manahawkin, N.J. Phil and Joanne also have four grandchildren, Alyssa and Joseph of N.J. and Erika and Ashley of FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Anthony and his son of 21 years, Steven, and a granddaughter Alexandria, who died at birth. Joanne and Phil were married in 1958 in Elmwood Park, IL, and moved to Venice, FL, in 1998. Phil retired from GTE in Northlake, IL, at 52. He went on to offer workshops in Accounting at Elmwood Park High School and in industry and taught Cost Accounting for 25 years at Harper College in Palatine. He also worked during tax season for H&R Block. Phil's family and friends always enjoyed his loving and quiet manner and his sense of humor.
Service: October 18 at 1 P.M. in the Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Venice, where his ashes will remain in the Rose Garden.
