Raymond Robert Nicoud, 72, of Sarasota, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born in Milwaukee, WI Friday, August 1, 1941 to Robert & Carmen Nicoud. Grandson of Ray Wolf, a developer in Manatee County. He was the founder of Lunde & Nicoud-Fine Art Appraisers, established for over 40 years. He was a long time resident of Manatee County. He spent his boyhood years in Florida and Wisconsin. A graduate of Manatee High School, he attended the University of Florida, and the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Among his numerous and varied interests, he founded the JTOE (Joliet Theater Organ Enthusiasts), he was a videographer who exhibited at the Sarasota Film Festival, film producer of documentaries, an avid photographer whose work was shown in numerous exhibits in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. He was a naturalist and outdoorsman. He is survived by his beloved partner Wade Seale of Sarasota, FL, sister Nanette Kellerman and brother-in-law Burt Kellerman of Osprey, FL, and numerous friends in Sarasota and Manatee counties whose lives he touched so dearly.
