Alex Vadie (June 2, 1936 - May 26, 2014) Vadie was born in Shiraz, Iran. He attended the University of Texas at Austin receiving his doctorate in Petroleum Engineering. Dr. Vadie would return to Tehran, Iran becoming VP of large corporation in the private sector with projects in Europe, Canada, and the Middle East. Due to political unrest in his country; Dr. Vadie returned back to the United States and began working as a graduate professor at Mississippi State University and also as a researcher in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Energy. Dr. Vadie is recognized not only for his accomplishments with his family, work and published research articles; but he was also the plaintiff in one the most famous Employment Law court cases of our recent times.
