Anthony L. Wotkyns,
Major Anthony Ludington (Tony) Wotkyns, USA Retired, passed away on December 7, 2013 at this home in Corona de Tucson, AZ.
Tony was born in Pasadena, CA on July 20, 1938. In his 23 years of service (USN & USA) Tony was the recipient of Two Purple Heart Medals, The Bronze Star Medal, The Legion of Merit Medal, The Meritorious Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, The Air Medal with Forty-Eight Oak Leaf Cluster, The DFC Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, the Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm, to name a few.
Major Wotkyns was preceded in death by his parents Grosvenor Eliot & Elizabeth Scott, brothers Marshall Eliot, Robert Jackson & Andrew Graves. He is survived by his older brother Grosvenor Scott & wife Threasa Antoinette, sisters Katharine Graves & husband Edward Gonzales and Elizabeth Armstrong & husband Enrique Montes, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A military memorial will take place on January 17, 2014 in Phoenix, AZ.
