Candace Anne Blake, born January 9, 1968, passed away April 11, 2014.
Candi graduated from St. Agnes Academy and went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising with a minor in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin. She was employed with The Special Olympics out of college and went on to work in television and radio sales for many years.
She is survived by her parents, George and Connee Blake; daughter, Kelsey Long; aunts, Mary Hay, Annabel Seltzer and Cathy Buckwalter and their families and her beloved k-9 companion, Macy.
The Celebration of Candace's Life will be Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at Noon in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. Candace will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to East Spring Branch Food Pantry at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 7901 Westview Drive, Houston, Texas 77055, where she regularly volunteered.
