Don M Lindsay of Houston passed away July 8, 2014, at 85. He grew up in College Station, TX, the oldest of four brothers. He served as a Lieutenant in the Navy during the Korean War, 1950-1956. Don married Sheila McDougall in 1956 and they had three children together. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Texas A&M University and a Master's degree in Edu from UT in Austin. He served many years as an officer at VFW Post #8905 in East Houston, and American Legion Post #397.

Survived by his wife Sheila, children Lesa and her husband Michael Springer; Doug Lindsay and his wife Anne Cannon; David Lindsay; Diane and her husband Alfred Briones. Grandchildren are Molly, Nicholas, Carson and Blake Springer; Marshall and Alison Miller; and Nicholas Mustacchia. He is survived by brothers Hugh and Mark Lindsay. He is predeceased by his brother Jim Lindsay.
Services will be held at 10 am, Saturday July 12th at Holy Trinity UMC, 13207 Orleans St. Houston, Tx, 77015.
