Elizabeth Mason Marshall, age 66, of Houston, passed away on Monday morning, the 21st of January 2013.

Born in Houston, she is predeceased by her parents, Carrington Mason and Dorothy Trout Mason; and sister, Mary Clara Mason. Betsy is survived by her husband, John Marshall; children, Jennifer and Mason Marshall; and sister-in-law; Sharon Keilin.
Beloved wife, mother, and friend, she believed in the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ from a young age and served Him with gratitude to the end of her life.
A graduate of the University of Texas, she was a teacher who changed the lives of many children; a committed Bible Study leader for women of all ages; and a gifted needlepoint artist.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o'clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening on Monday, the 28th of January, in the drawing room of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
On Tuesday, the family will gather for a private interment service at Morton Cemetery in Richmond, TX, where the Rev. Dr. M. Douglas Harper, is to officiate.
In lieu of customary remembrances, and for those desiring, contributions in Betsy's name may be directed to Pepperdine University, 24255 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA, 90263 (where her son is a professor).
