George H. Peterson passed from this life into eternity on November 21, 2013. George was born on March 2, 1927 to George and Ethel Peterson in Duluth, Minnesota. He joined the Army and was a veteran of World War II. Upon returning home in 1947, he studied Engineering at the University of Minnesota. He moved to Houston in 1950 and worked in the Engineering field for Brown and Root and the Belmas Corporation until 1973 when he joined Exchanger Repair Service Inc. as a partner until his retirement in 2003.

He is survived by his wife, Marti (Pollard) Peterson, son, Steve Peterson and wife Dawn, grandsons, Matthew Peterson, Alan and Erik Hale, granddaughter, Lisa Cazacu, great-granddaughter, Natalie Peterson, step-daughter, Donna Lightfoot, daughter-in-law, Carol Peterson, and sister-in-law, Liz Isbill. He was pre-deceased by his son Greg Peterson. George was an avid golfer and was a member of the Fort Bend Country Club.
Family and friends will hold a memorial service at a later date.
