Henry Vincent Mingarelli, 83, of Pearland, passed into eternal peace January 22, 2013 with his daughters by his side. Henry was born February 26, 1929 in Endicott, New York. Henry was an accomplished, driven individual. At the age of 17, after graduating from high school a year early, he managed a grocery store. He then joined the Marine Corps when he was 18 and proudly served our country as a Sergeant, and was honorably discharged at the age of 20. Henry married Justina May Leonard on September 3, 1960. Henry and Tina had three daughters together: Terri, Maria, and Kim. In 1973, after many years of perseverance and determination, he graduated from law school and then practiced law in Pearland until retirement at the age of 75. Henry was very involved in the community and St. Helen Catholic Church. He had a love for family, animals, and a thirst for knowledge, reading the newspaper, Time, Newsweek, and National Geographic daily. Henry especially loved politics and was in charge of running the Democratic headquarters in Pearland for many years.
The Guest Book is expired.
Henry is survived by his three daughters; Terri Sessions, Maria Mingarelli, and Kim Shovlin; grandchildren: Reis, Riley, Deva, Brian, Nick, and Ram; brother, Frank Mingarelli; and a host of other relatives and friends.
