Julian F. Bailey, 61 of Houston, Texas left to be with the Angels in Heaven on April 18, 2013, following an extended illness. He was born on October 3, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas. He was a proud member of the U.S. Navy serving as an electrician from 1970-1974. Julian worked in the electrical industry for a number of years and spent the last 13 years in sales at Perfection Fireplace and Supply in Houston. He loved to fish and was an artist, always looking for something to draw or paint. He loved sports, especially the Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs. He was a joy to those who knew him, and always had a smile for those he met. He loved his family, and was especially proud of his beautiful grandchildren. Julian is survived by his wife, Cheryl of Houston, his daughter Monica and her husband Aron and his son Justin, along with his grandchildren, Ariana, Aidan and Ava all of Katy Texas; his stepchildren Rebecca Boyle Thacker and husband Joshua of Lubbock, TX, Sarah Boyle Listi and husband Matthew and son Benjamin, of Cypress, TX and Jennifer Boyle of Spring , TX. He is also survived by his sister Marcia Watson and husband Larry of Alaska, sister, Loralyn McMeans of Phoenix, AZ and brother Raymond of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by many dear friends, especially his dearest friends, Roy Bain of New Caney, TX, and Kerry Brown of China Grove, TX. Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday April 23rd at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home at 9926 Jones Road. Funeral services will be held at Foundry United Methodist Church at 8350 Jones Road, on April 24th at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Houston National Cemetery.
