Les A. Chetta, 93, passed away on October 20, 2013. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II as a Staff Sergeant Crew Chief for P38 fighter planes. Les was a member of Sacred Heart Society.

He is preceded in death by his son Joseph M. Chetta; sister, Mildred Russo; brother, Joseph J. Chetta. Les is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rosalie; daughters, JoAnn Chetta, Pauline Samperi and husband Frank, Sharon Brittain; grandchildren, Frank Samperi, Kali Dearbonne and husband Zach, Britney Samperi, Nicholas and Nathan Brittain; sister-in-laws, Frankie Troncale and Bernece Chetta. He was employed in the Wine and Beverage Industry, for the City of Houston and Spec's. Les loved hunting, fishing and sports.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00pm Thursday, October 24th, at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Road, in Pearland 77581, with visitation two hours prior to the service, starting at 12:00pm. The Celebrant will be Fr. Jim Courville. A private interment will be held at Forest Park Lawndale.
