Mark Edward Denney 58, of Houston passed away on October 26, 2013. He was born on August 28, 1955, in Denison, Texas, to Lew and Joyce Denney.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Leslie, and his pride and joy, son, Matthew; his sister Cherie and her husband, Tug Dowdy; nephews Todd Burgess and his wife, Jennifer; Trent Burgess; George Dowdy and his wife, Autumn; and Gavin Dowdy and his wife, Lauria; in-laws, Leslie and Carolyn Bratos, Steve and Mary Bratos, nephew and niece John and Sadie Bratos; and eight great nephews and nieces. His parents and grandmother, Ruby Smith, preceded him in death.
After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1979, Mark spent the majority of his career with Cameron Ironworks, and spent the last eight years working at FMC Technologies.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 7 at 1 p.m. at Holy Covenant United Methodist Church located at 22111 Morton Road, Katy, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the
