Donoho died Friday, June 6th, in New York City.
She was born March 12, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas to Rose Amen and William Richard Laughlin. Pat grew up in Houston, attending St. Anne's School, St. Agnes Academy and the University of Texas. After graduation she moved to New York, where she would remain for the rest of her life. She worked initially as a writer for the travel industry and later, for twenty years at Christie's auction house.
Pat was passionate about the world around her. She loved food, art, politics, and exploring the city. Most important to her were the people in her life. Her warmth, kindness, and unfailing loyalty were rocks upon which many of us depended, from her beloved cats to her friends and family. Pat is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Thompson Donoho, and her brother, Thomas Richard Laughlin.
She is survived by twin sons, Timothy and Gideon, his wife, Jill, granddaughters Nora, Sylvie and Claire, her brother, William Joseph Laughlin and wife, Fanelle Logue Laughlin, sister, Ann Laughlin Connell and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
