Paul Mason Kolb of Ruidoso, New Mexico joined his Savior on June 12, 2013.
The Guest Book is expired.
Born in Houston, Texas on October 12, 1954, he is survived by his wife Susan, parents, Joy and John Kolb, of Goliad, Texas, and four siblings and their spouses: Susan and Mac Dunwoody, Jay and Jeanie Kolb, Ellen and Mike Klepacki, and Ann and Jay Cuclis. Also, he is survived by ten nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly.
Paul attended Lee High School in Houston and Selwyn College Preparatory School in Denton before attending college at Trinity University and Texas Lutheran University. His real calling was teaching both children and adults to water ski, snow ski, and snowboard.
Paul was a person of exceptional character. He forgave quickly, always sought out the best in others, and was loved by many. He was happy, and he made others happy. He found humor in life, and he helped others to see it. He looked for the positive, and he encouraged others to do the same. He made all of us better people.
On June 19, the Community United Methodist Church in Ruidoso was filled with family and friends that joined in a celebration of Paul's life. An outdoor service will also be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the family home at 5247 N. Highway 59, Goliad, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials and contributions to The Lincoln County Humane Society and
in Ruidoso are encouraged.
