Pops was a Veteran of World War II, serving as a Merchant Marine before, during and after the war. After being honorably discharged he was a Stevedore Superintendent at the Port of Houston.
There never was before or ever will be a character like him. He will surely be missed by all that ever met him. The world will be a dull and less interesting place without him.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Forest Park East Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262
