Ted Kuhn Obituary
Ted Bryant Kuhn passed on Sept. 12, 2013 He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp. & Reserve from 1954-1962. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign War. After attending two years of college in Arlington,Texas he completed his B.A. in political science @ U.H. He was then accepted at South Texas College of Law and after receiving law degree, he then received his Juris Doctor in 1971. Not only did he pass the law board BUT in 1983, he achieved the honor of board certification by Texas Board of Legal Specialties in Labor & Employment Law. His representation of unions, administrations of their trust funds, pensions, health, welfare & trust funds expanded 40 years. He was also a Sr. partner in Burtrill & Kuhn Law firm.
Ted was preceded by death by father, Joseph P. Kuhn, mother, Alpine Mae Kuhn, sister, Mae Ellen Kuhn.
He is survived by his long time loving companion Varchia Morgan Kuhn, daughters: Karen Newton,Samantha Kuhn & Melissa Walden, brother, Doug Kuhn, sister Mildred Collins & Betty Stowe & four grandchildren.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held Oct. 12, 2013 @ Pasha 2325 University Blvd./ 4 - 6 p.m/ ALL are welcome.
A full military honor memorial will be Oct. 14,2013 @ 9AM. at the National cemetery located @ 10410 Veterans Memorial, H. Tx. 77038. ALL are welcome
