Thomas Croom Obituary
Thomas E. Croom, 89, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 23, 2014. He was born on November 14, 1924, on a farm in Sitka, Arkansas. Tom was a wonderful husband and father, and devoted to his family. He believed and lived by the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". He proudly served our Nation as a Sergeant during World War II, as a radio operator mechanic gunner in the US Army Air Corps, and retired from Ethyl Corporation. Tom is survived by his loving wife of over 70 years Clara, their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sister Blonda Jane Spike. Visitation is Sunday, April 27, 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.; Funeral Service Monday, April 28, 10:30 a.m.; both in the Main Chapel of the funeral home; followed with burial at Houston National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
