Thomas "Floyd" Cross Obituary
Thomas "Floyd" Cross, age 73 entered into eternal life on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at his residence in Magnolia, Texas. Floyd was born on July 28, 1940 to the union of Victor and Minnie May Stevenson Cross in Sweetwater, Texas. He was a devoted member of North Woodlands Church of Christ. Floyd was a veteran, having served in the United States Army. He was a crane operator and was a devoted employee with the Port of Houston. Floyd loved music, especially the steel guitar. He is reunited with his first wife, Margaret "Peggy" Cross and his parents. He leaves in God's care, his devoted wife of 9 years, Emily Cross; two sons, Tommy Cross and wife Kristina and Charles Cross and wife Tracey; stepson, Kerry Bullard and wife Julie; two stepdaughters, Kristina Bullard and Holly Pritchard; sister, Susan Woodward and husband David; four grandchildren, Brandon Cross, Allie Cross, Kendal Cross and Seth Cross; step-grandchildren, Kacey Bullard, Koty Bullard, Alyssa Bullard, Alana Pritchard, Ethan Pritchard, Blake Pritchard, Ava Pritchard, Emily Shaw and Gabriella Bozzelli and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Visitation with Floyd will begin Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Floyd's Life at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1101 Antoine Drive, Houston, Texas 77055. Minister Bill Young will officiate the services. Floyd will be laid to rest with military honors in Woodlawn Garden of Memories. Condolences may be expressed to the family at woodlawnfh.com
