I knew Bill in elementary school as our dads were stationed together and again at Wiesbaden HS and again at A&M. Sometimes things happen that can't be explained. Bill will be remembered for his service to his country and his community and for just plain being a good guy.

RIP Bill. Enjoyed flying with you. I think our last layover was El Paso in the early '90's; we walked across the border to Martino's steak house.

Please accept my condolences at the passing of Bill. We flew together quite a lot in the early days of his career with Delta. We shared lots of stories about our experiences in combat over Laos. I'm sorry we lost contact once I retired.
May God's peace and grace be yours.

We feel so blessed to have met you and Bill this past summer. He will always be in our hearts as a very special man. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts.

While I only met Bill once a few years ago while attending storm watch training in Bryan, I am honored now to be following directly in his footsteps as Grimes County's current Emergency Management Coordinator. As a fellow Air Force veteran I share Bill's passion for public service, and he contributed much to Grimes County and his fellow veterans. He will be sorely missed.

Dearest Diane,
I am very deeply sorry for your loss. Sharing our experiences and getting to know Bill at the conference this summer was a genuine honor and gift for me, and I will cherish these memories forever. He was one of the best people I have ever met, and I am very grateful that I had a chance to encounter him and to get to know him a little. I am very grateful that I met both of you and I am here for you. You and your family are in my thoughts.

Billy set my sister up on a blind date with a fish from his outfit. That fish and I will celebrate our 40th anniversary next year. Thank you, Billy!
And, thanks for your warm friendship with my father. The difference in age made no difference to you. That says a lot about both of you!
I'll miss your smile and your warmth.
Blessings and peace to all who love Bill.
