Bobby Ray Ratliff
79, of San Dimas, died Friday, October 25, 2013.
He was born to the late Russell and Opal Ratliff, January 8, 1934, in Brimson, Missouri. Bob graduated from Shenandoah High School in Missouri in 1952. He served in the
United States Navy
for four years. Bob was a Naval
and Boilerman on the U.S.S. Thomason. He also was a
Veteran. Upon his honorable discharge he relocated to La Verne, Ca. in September 1956.
He met Mary Jane Robinson soon after his discharge. They married on May 7, 1957. They moved numerous times, but settled down in San Dimas, Ca.
Bob worked for the United States Post Office in San Dimas from 1960 until he retired in 1989. He and Mary started Foothill Attorney Service in 1983 and Bob retired in 2003.
Bob was an avid Horseman, Hunter, Fisherman, and Card Player. Known for his love of coffee he never met a stranger. Active in the San Dimas Community he coached Little League Baseball for over 50 years.
Bob is survived by his four children Ken, and his wife Cathy, Ron, and his wife Kim, Rick, Sheri and daughter in law Melody. He was preceded in death by his son Robbie in 2006. He had 13 grandchildren: Shane, and his wife Melissa, James, Julie, Travis, and his wife Stephanie, Brianna, Chris, Caitie, Amanda, Aaron, and his wife Nicci, Alex, Karissa, Maxx, Zachary, Jacob and Levi. He also had 7 great-grandchildren: Morgan, Hope, Hunter, Abbie, Tannor, Nate and Corbin.
Viewing will be held from 4pm to 8pm on Friday evening, November 1st.
Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday morning, November 2nd.

Burial services immediately following at La Verne Cemetery: 3201 N. "B" Street, La Verne, CA. 91750.
