John L. Conley
On September 18th 2013, John L. Conley passed on from this world to enter the kingdom of our heavenly Father. John was born January 1st 1920 near Calhoun, Oklahoma. In 1938 at the age of 18, he made his way west where he quickly settled in Chino, CA. He was married to his childhood sweetheart Eloise in 1940. After establishing his first business in Chino, he proudly served in the Navy for our country in World War II. In 1960, John moved his business to Montclair where it still stands and operates today as a sign of his entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic, which were only matched by his compassion and generosity for those in need. As an active member of Pomona first Baptist Church, he will be remembered as a righteous man. John is survived by his wife of 74 years, Eloise, his sons Tom and David, his 3 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed but family, friends and employees will forever celebrate his life. Funeral Services, will be held on Friday September 27th,11am at Pomona First Baptist Church 601 N. Garey Avenue Pomona, CA
