Mary Louise Kinder, 76, lost her battle with multiple sclerosis and breast cancer on Sunday, June 15 at her residence.
Visitation will take place Friday, June 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley.
Funeral Mass, officiated by Father John Smith, will commence at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 21 at Sacred Heart Church, also in Brawley. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery following the Mass.
Mary was born February 20, 1938 in Brawley. She graduated from Brawley Union High School in 1956 and Marymount College in 1960. Mary was married to Capt. Joseph D. Kinder on June 8, 1963 in Costa Mesa, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Louise Gargiulo.
Mary is survived by her husband, Dr. Joseph D. Kinder of Brawley, CA; daughter, Kathy Kinder of Brawley, CA; sons, Joseph F. Kinder of San Diego, CA, Thomas Kinder of Orlando, FL, Theodore Kinder of Brawley, CA; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Kinder Williams and Todd Williams of Brawley, CA; grandson, Drake Kinder Seals of Brawley, CA; granddaughter, Marlena Louise Williams of Brawley, CA; brothers, Tom and Phil Gargiulo of Brawley, CA and Albert Gargiulo of Tempe, AZ; nieces, Amy (Ray) Hannon, Julie (Ray) Babb and Cindy (Howard) Elmore all of Brawley, CA, Carla Gargiulo and Tina Cummings of Tempe, AZ; cousin, Toni Whitney Hicks of Stockton, CA; and beloved beautician of 20+ years, Nancy Grant of Brawley, CA.
