On December 24, 2012, George Raimond Barnett left his earthly home and went to be with his Savior.
He was born June 2, 1943, at Bryn Mawr, PA to Vivian Fredrick Barnett and Ruth Serita Brous.
George grew up on Ardrossan Dairy Farm in Wayne, PA. He lived on the farm until he graduated from Radnor High School and joined the Air Force after graduation.
He was stationed at Malstrom Air Force base in Great Falls, MT where he learned the trade of refrigeration and air conditioning.
George fell in love with the West and began his career in Idaho. He began working for Scott's Refrigeration in Twin Falls, ID, moved to Pocatello, ID where he worked as the branch manager, transferred to Grand Junction, CO and finally retired after 40 years of service in 2006.
George met the love of his life, Dorothy Langehennig, in Boise, ID and married in Twin Falls, ID on May 10, 1968.
George had a long battle with prostate cancer. Even during his painful days he would say "I am a blessed boy".
George was a strong Christian, loving God and serving Him in all places.
George is survived by his wife Dorothy Barnett, 2 sons, James Barnett of Boise and Charles Barnett of Boise and 1 daughter Rhonda Fisher of Pocatello, 2 brothers, John Barnett of Schwenksville, PA and Barry Barnett of West Chester, PA, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother and sister. The family would like to thank St. Luke's Hospice especially Tami his nurse, Gail and Tami the caregiver for all their work and care.
