Vernon Cleo Cornelison

Vernon Cleo Cornelison, 88, of Caldwell, Idaho passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at his home. Vern was born December 25, 1924 to Mary Lyn and George Cornelison in Diggins, Missouri, where he lived until the age of 17. He then enlisted in the Army where he served in World War II, and then he became an E-7 Sargent. When he returned, he moved to Idaho and he then retired from the Caldwell Post Office in 1986.
Vern is survived by his sister, Betty Thomas and his brother, Bill Cornelison. Three daughters, Debra Pearson, Sandra Orand and Lisa Rodriguez and son, Rick Orand. He leaves behind six grandkids and five great grandkids.
He is preceded in death by 2 wives, Jenny Cornelison and Ineta Cornelison. One brother, George Cornelison and one son, Danny Orand.

A graveside service, with full military honors, will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2013, 1:00pm at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
