Jonny Michelle (Mitchie) Pino
April 31, 1956 - November 21, 2013
Jonny Michelle (Mitchie) Pino was born to Delta Ila B Brown and John H. Pino, both from Pocatello, and attended Pocatello High School. She belonged to Special Olympics and received many medals. Mitchie moved to Portland, Oregon in 1977 and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where she worked at a grocery store. Mitchie and Delta, her mother, moved back to Mitchie's childhood home in Pocatello. When she moved back she went to work at Taco Bell where she received the employee of the month many times. She enjoyed collecting dolls and going to garage sales to get baby clothes for them. Mitchie loved babies and, whenever there was a baby around, she was holding it. She helped her mother grocery shop and cleaned the house after her mother suffered a stroke. In June of 2012, Mitchie moved to Lewiston, Idaho with her brother Paul and sister-in-law, Billie, where she became a member of the Church of God Reformed. She spent many hours with Billie and helped her around the house. Last summer, Mitchie came back to Pocatello and helped her sister with her mom's memorial. She fell ill in November of last year and returned back to heaven, on Thanksgiving Day, to her mother and her sister Leslie Pino, niece Erin Munk, her father John Hardy Pino, step-father Mortimer F. Brown, aunt Jo Marie Bennett and aunt Ella Louise J. Baguley. Mitchie was 57. Mitchie is survived by her sisters, Cyndy Russel (Steve) and Lynda Medley (Willie), her brother Paul Pino (Billie) and her 3 nephews, uncle Lawrence Bennett, uncle Franklin Baguley, and many cousins. Services will be held Saturday afternoon, August 23, at Christ Church, 1245 N. Arthur at 1 p.m. You will be missed.
