Dorothy (Dot) M. Beshears
Dorothy (Dot) M. Beshears passed away of natural causes at the age of ninety on May 15, 2014. She was the middle child of three born to Mary and Edward Welle in Collinsville, Illinois. Her brothers were Eugene and Carl Welle who have passed before her.
Dot served in the Waves during World War II along with her two brothers, who also served their country in the Army and Marines. She then met and married Louis L. Beshears, a veteran of the Army of World War II.
Louis worked for Monsanto Chemical Company and Dot worked for Illinois Bell Telephone Company. They lived together in Collinsville with their daughter, Carla, for many years.
After Louis passed, Dot moved to McCall, Idaho to be with her daughter and family. She then moved to Boise, Idaho to spend the remainder of her years.
Dot is survived by her only child, Carla Burns, and her granddaughter and family, Kristin Burns and Jeremy and Natalie Sturdavant.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a great grandmother, and will be greatly missed by her family.
