Robert L. Titus

Robert (Bob) LeRoy Titus passed away October 24, 2013 in Boise, Idaho surrounded by his family. Bob was born in Battle Creek, MI, May 29, 1944 to Rosemary Maxine Everitt Titus and Francis Marion Titus. Bob moved with his family from Battle Creek, MI to El Monte, CA where he attended Arroyo High School. In 1961 Bob joined the US Air Force and served as a USAF Fire Fighter in Mountain Home, ID. On August 15, 1964 Bob married Fern Lough and they were later divorced in 1974. They had three children Richard, Daniel, and Tammy.
Bob moved to Boise, ID in 1967 and worked as a Grounds Keeper at the VA from 1967 until 1974.
Bob later moved to Twin Falls, ID, where he was a farmer. In 1990 Bob lived in South Dakota until he returned to Boise in 1991. Bob worked as a Custodian for the Boise Schools until his retirement in July 2010.
Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, Harley motorcycle riding, gardening. And bicycling. He loved his family, animals, and the desert. Bob was a loyal Green Bay Packer fan.
Bob loved taking care of stray animals. He was a great conversationalist with anyone and everyone. No one was a stranger to Bob. He was affectionately known as "Uncle Tiny", "Grandpa T.", and "Bobby T."
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Francis and Rosemary Titus and his sister Nora Garza.
He is survived by his beloved friend and companion, Linda Sublett and his children Richard L. Titus of Caldwell, ID, Daniel L. Titus (Cindy) of Kuna, ID, Tammy M. Rehl (Matthew) of Boise, ID, grandchildren Tia Titus, Taylor Titus, Rusty Rehl, and Rhianna Rehl. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and special family friends Bill and Fern Rehl.
He will be greatly missed and have a special place in our hearts.
Services will be held at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery 10100 Horseshoe Bend Rd. on Friday Nov. 8, at 2:30 pm.
