Steven F Stewart

Steven F. Stewart of Fairfield, Idaho passed away peacefully at the age of 65 at his home in Las Vegas. His brothers and their wives were present at the time of his passing.
Steve was born September 6, 1948 to William F. and Opal L. Stewart. He grew up in Fairfield and after graduating from high school, attended college at Idaho State University. In 1969, Steve joined the Navy under the buddy system with his good friend Max Muffley.
After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Steve was hired by Morrison-Knudson and trained as a welder. He continued his education in construction eventually becoming a site a manger on many nuclear power plants, gas refineries, and coal fired plants. Eventually Steve retired and lived his winter in Las Vegas and his summers in Fairfield.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Opal Stewart, and two brothers Terry Stewart and Reed Stewart.
He is survived by his son and daughter Scott and Brooke Stewart, brothers Alan (Jan) Stewart, Mark (Jacquelle) Stewart, many cousins, nephews, nieces, friends, and his dog Ike. He was loved and will be deeply missed.
Memorial services will be held at the Stewart cabin in Fairfield, Idaho at a later date.
