Terry Rutter-Waring, 49, of Irmo was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, December 1, 2013, following a courageous battle with Cancer. Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Shirley Gambrell Rutter. Terry was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church, and although born an only child, she had numerous brothers and sisters in Christ. She was a Pharmacist at Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital for 20 years.
She is survived by her beloved sons, William Rutter Waring and Alexander James Waring. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and her dear friend, Dr. Saralyn Williams and family.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Riverland Hills Baptist Church. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Belton, SC. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo.
The family extends sincere appreciation to Dr. Leland J. McElveen, and the many healthcare professionals at SCOA and Palmetto Health Baptist.
